Pilot Dogs Names Jim Alloway As New Executive Director

Benefactor Group is pleased to have assisted Pilot Dogs with the search for its new Executive Director. Jim Alloway is a leader with a deep understanding of both canine welfare and nonprofit management that is perfectly suited to the organization’s mission: to provide the finest guide dogs to the visually impaired.

Jim joins the Pilot Dogs community after spending the last five years as Executive Director of the Union County Humane Society, an organization responsible for the care and placement of over 1,200 animals annually. He is also the former President of the United Schutzhund Clubs of America, an international membership organization dedicated to preserving the German Shepherd Dog’s working heritage.

Jim not only brings critical strategic and executive leadership skills to Pilot Dogs, but also deep values of integrity and a passion for the organization’s mission. As the organization’s key representative, Alloway will generate enthusiasm across staff, supporters, and the volunteers, and serve as an ambassador to the public.

Benefactor Group is proud to have guided Pilot Dogs in this search. It is an honor to work with an organization that does so much to help the visually impaired through the gift of canine companionship. Congratulations to Jim, the Board, and the entire Pilot Dogs team.
