Adam Fazio joins Benefactor Group to lead Executive Search practice

Fazio’s arrival comes after more than fifteen years with nonprofit organizations, including 10 years at food-justice organization Local Matters.

Benefactor Group, a firm that supports leading nonprofits through innovative executive search services, is pleased to announce the addition of Adam Fazio as Senior Consultant. Fazio has spent more than fifteen years advancing health and social justice causes through his work at various nonprofits. He will lead Benefactor Group’s Executive Search practice, which matches nonprofit organizations with passionate and qualified leaders.  

“Adam has extensive experience building teams, working with trustees, and managing nonprofits,” shared Laura MacDonald, Principal and Founder of Benefactor Group. “His expertise and professionalism will deliver excellent outcomes for clients seeking new leadership.”

Fazio, who will be based out of Benefactor Group’s Columbus office, spent the last ten years at food-justice organization Local Matters, where he served first as Director of Operations and then as Director of Development. Through his leadership roles across varied nonprofits, Fazio has achieved significant operational and fundraising successes, particularly during moments of leadership transition.

“I am passionate about using my skills and experiences as a nonprofit leader to build strong teams and organizations,” shared Fazio. “I joined Benefactor Group to put my talent management and acquisition experience into practice to serve our clients and strengthen their work improving lives and enriching communities.”

Fazio earned his B.A. in Anthropology/Sociology and French from Middlebury College. He lives in Columbus with his husband and daughter.
