She holds a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certificate and is skilled in project management. Prior to joining Benefactor Group, Summers worked in nonprofit development and grants strategy. She also managed high-profile, grant-funded initiatives at the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, collaborating with global leaders in security and international affairs to explore key foreign policy questions. A graduate of Boston College, Summers grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Columbus, Ohio, and is now based in Denver, Colorado.
