The university’s dream is to open doors to a relevant, exceptional education—and with it, opportunities for meaningful careers and stable financial futures—for all who want it. Wright State is ranked number one in Ohio for advancing students’ social mobility, meaning the university does more than any other in the state to improve graduates’ employability, earning potential, and quality of life.

Wright State University developed plans to become the model for a truly “student-centered university”: one that uplifts students through every moment of their learning journey, from admittance to promising careers. To fuel this vision, Wright State began planning for a campaign to make strategic, focused investments in student access and student success.

Benefactor Group partnered with Wright State to develop a compelling case for support for this campaign. Through deep conversations with university leaders, the advancement team, donors, alumni, students, and corporate partners, we created a “philanthropic investment prospectus” that clearly articulated the university’s value proposition and translated its campaign priorities into resonant messages. The university continues to use this document as a central resource for sharing its story, engaging donors, and securing investments.
