The Women’s Fund of Central Ohio provides grants to individuals and programs that promote positive social change and expand opportunities for women and girls. The organization recognized the need for a comprehensive development plan to ensure a sustainable future. Benefactor Group conducted interviews with community leaders and the women who benefit from the Women’s Fund to evaluate the organization’s development programs. Based on this evaluation, recommendations were made to strengthen the capacity to secure generous philanthropic support, resulting in the creation of a five-year development plan aimed at increasing funding support, building the endowment, and expanding the donor base.

The plan outlined a clear path for the Women’s Fund to increase its annual net development income at least threefold and its endowment assets fivefold over the course of the development plan, thus maintaining its role as a premier resource for women and girls in Central Ohio.
