The Women’s Center of Jacksonville was founded in 1992 to serve the needs of women in northeast Florida. Within a decade, the center had outgrown its modest offices in a renovated home and made plans for a new facility. Benefactor Group conducted a feasibility study and helped facilitate a number of training sessions with board members and other volunteers. The center launched a capital campaign and realized its goals within a year.
