James Thurber’s boyhood home is now a thriving literary center that celebrates authors, the art of writing, and the pleasures of reading. Under the guidance of Benefactor Group, a dynamic director, staff, and board stabilized operating funds and increased support for educational and cultural programming. Counsel created a strategic development plan, provided training, and clarified the responsibilities of staff and volunteers in securing increased giving from individuals and other constituencies.
