Since 1888, the American Folklore Society (AFS) has united humanities scholars, museum anthropologists, and engaged citizens in the study and preservation of folklore worldwide. To ensure long-term financial sustainability, AFS partnered with Benefactor Group to establish a permanent endowment supporting its activities and publications. Our team worked closely with AFS to design the foundation of an endowment building and planned giving program, developing policies and procedures, crafting a compelling case for support, and creating marketing materials. Additionally, we provided strategic guidance to attract planned gift donors, laying the groundwork for a sustainable future for AFS and its mission.
