As a member of Benefactor Group’s Fundraising Communications team, Taylor partners with clients to shape bold philanthropic visions and tell their stories in ways that resonate with diverse audiences. She also supports clients with strategic communications and writing expertise across all of Benefactor Group’s services.
After a career in education and earning a Doctorate in English, Taylor returned to the nonprofit sector to focus her expertise on mission-driven communications. She brings a narrative lens to fundraising strategy, helping organizations translate complex goals and big ambitions into clear, compelling messages that inspire transformational giving. Her work spans arts and culture, social services, advocacy, and higher education organizations, where she partners with leaders to strengthen fundraising communications and support long-term impact.
Taylor holds a PhD in English from the University of Washington, where she studied the intersection of American politics and narrative, as well as an MA and BA from Oregon State University. A proud AmeriCorps alum, Taylor brings both hands-on nonprofit experience and an academic perspective to her work, grounded in a deep commitment to equity and ethics in philanthropy.
