Abby is an accomplished nonprofit executive with fifteen years of leadership experience in cultural organizations. Abby has a proven track-record of coaching high-performing teams, building mission-driven relationships, developing data-informed strategy to exceed ambitious revenue goals, growing audiences and advancing equity and inclusion. In addition to her advancement expertise, Abby has significant experience in strategic planning, board governance, government relations, membership, marketing, communications, events, program development and evaluation.
Abby’s previous leadership roles include Deputy Director of External Relations and Advancement at the Speed Art Museum, Vice President of Development at Fund for the Arts and Vice President at Kentucky Performing Arts. Abby has received recognition for her work from Business First of Louisville, Insider Louisville, Association of Performing Arts Presenters and International Society for the Performing Arts, among others.
Abby holds a Masters in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University, where she received the competitive full-tuition scholarship for a nonprofit executive, and a Bachelor of Arts from Butler University where she studied Journalism and Ballet. She lives in Louisville with her husband and two children and is active in the community, currently serving on the board of Louisville Public Media as Chair Elect.
