National Museum of Wildlife Art

The National Museum of Wildlife Art, established in 1987, aims to inspire connections with wildlife and nature. Nestled into a hillside overlooking the National Elk Refuge in Jackson Hole, WY, the museum houses over 5,000 artworks representing wild animals from around the world.

Benefactor Group’s partnership with the National Museum of Wildlife Art began in 2017, with the organization’s first governance assessment since its founding. This effort built upon a recently completed strategic plan and set the stage for greater fundraising success.

Most recently, we guided the museum as its leaders considered a bold campaign for a brighter future. Recognizing that the current building was overflowing with an abundance of treasures, they developed plans to expand facilities, strengthen the endowment, and elevate annual operations. Our comprehensive campaign planning study confirmed donors’ enthusiasm for these initiatives and positioned the museum to launch its most ambitious campaign to date.
