Easterseals Central and Southeast Ohio, dedicated to serving children and adults with disabilities across 28 counties, received significant recognition through a transformational gift from benefactor MacKenzie Scott in 2021. Inspired by this generous contribution, Easterseals engaged Benefactor Group to facilitate a strategic planning exercise aimed at increasing its impact and revitalizing its fundraising efforts.

Benefactor Group collaborated with board and staff members to develop a comprehensive strategic plan, assess internal operations, and create a focused development strategy centered on enhancing individual giving. When the Chief Development Officer position became vacant, Benefactor Group provided search services to identify a mission-driven development leader with relevant experience to join the Easterseals team.

Benefactor Group worked alongside Easterseals to develop an organizational case for support, further strengthening its fundraising capabilities and outreach.
