Bottom Line is dedicated to helping students from under-resourced communities enter college, earn degrees, and launch successful careers. The organization focuses on building strong connections with students, providing individualized support, and ensuring they have the guidance needed to persist and achieve their educational goals.

In 2022, Bottom Line received a transformative $15 million gift from MacKenzie Scott, enabling the organization to embark on an ambitious expansion plan to reach more students. In late 2022, Benefactor Group began collaborating with Bottom Line to conduct a comprehensive development assessment, evaluating the potential for philanthropic support in new regions and creating a strategic development plan.

Following the assessment, Benefactor Group partnered with Bottom Line to conduct a search for a Managing Director of Development. In 2023, we commenced our support for the implementation of Bottom Line’s fundraising plan in Massachusetts, positioning the organization for continued growth and impact in helping students succeed in higher education.
