Jazz Arts Group (JAG) is dedicated to providing lifelong learning opportunities in jazz for individuals of all ages, interests, backgrounds, and abilities. Through programs such as the Columbus Jazz Orchestra, Columbus Youth Jazz, and the JazZoo series, JAG enriches the community and preserves the legacy of jazz.

In 2023, following the announcement of Press Southworth’s retirement after serving as CEO since 2012, JAG engaged Benefactor Group to conduct a national search for the organization’s next leader. Benefactor Group’s executive search process led to the recruitment of Katy Coy, a seasoned arts administrator with nearly two decades of leadership experience and a deep appreciation for the jazz artform.

Today, Coy is successfully overseeing JAG’s operations, driving strategic growth, and strengthening the organization’s fundraising, advocacy, and community engagement efforts.
