When Ohio business and political leaders were considering the establishment of a community foundation to serve the 29 counties in Appalachian Ohio, they asked Benefactor Group to facilitate early meetings, conduct a feasibility study, and draft policies, structure, and strategies. Today, the Foundation has a diverse board, holds more than 50 charitable funds, and assets of nearly $5 million.
