The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians has called California’s Coachella Valley home for centuries. As Palm Springs—located within the Agua Caliente reservation—continues to evolve as a cultural crossroads of Native and non-Native cultures, the tribe envisioned a world-class museum to honor its heritage. Benefactor Group partnered with the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum to develop a compelling case for support, capturing the Band’s rich history, stewardship of artifacts and wisdom, and vision for a landmark educational museum and repository. This case now serves as a critical tool in cultivating support and securing funding for the museum’s creation. Once completed, the Agua Caliente Cultural Museum will stand as a premier destination, preserving tribal heritage and enriching the broader desert community.
