The Kentucky Humane Society (KHS) is the largest adoption center in the state, dedicated to the care and adoption of companion animals. In 2023 alone, KHS took in more than 6,000 animals, reflecting the ever-growing demand for its services. To better serve the community and its animals, KHS envisioned a new Animal & Community Center funded through philanthropic support.

Benefactor Group conducted a feasibility study to assess the viability of a campaign to fund the new facility. Testing a $30 million goal, Benefactor Group provided strategic recommendations, including a phased approach to securing both public and private funds. These insights will help KHS move forward with a sustainable and impactful fundraising strategy to bring its vision to life.
