The Cleveland Museum of Art, renowned for its commitment to creating transformative experiences through art, engaged Benefactor Group in 2021 to conduct a campaign planning study for a proposed $200 million campaign. This campaign aimed to sustain the museum’s momentum as a collector, connector, and convenor, with objectives that included curatorial investments, special exhibitions, conservation efforts, educational programs, technology upgrades, and capital enhancements.
The study concluded in June 2022, and Benefactor Group recommended that the Cleveland Museum of Art proceed with the $200 million campaign. Following this recommendation, Benefactor Group was retained to support the museum during the campaign preparation phase, ensuring the organization was well-equipped to launch this ambitious fundraising effort.
