Benefactor Group was pleased to assist Caracole with the search for their next Chief Executive Officer following the departure of their long-tenured CEO. Caracole is Greater Cincinnati’s nonprofit dedicated to improving lives through HIV/AIDS prevention, housing, and care. With a staff of approximately 70 and an annual budget of $15 million, Caracole provides essential services, including HIV testing, PrEP access, case management, and supportive housing, all aimed at fostering health equity and stability within the community.

Benefactor Group facilitated a national search, presenting a diverse slate of candidates with deep sector and nonprofit experience. The Board of Directors ultimately selected a leader with extensive executive leadership experience in social justice organizations, significant expertise in affordable housing and homelessness prevention, and a strong commitment to Caracole’s values of unconditional inclusivity. The board is thrilled to welcome this new leader, who will champion Caracole’s mission of changing lives in the fight against HIV/AIDS through prevention, housing, and care.
