In 2019, OU experienced significant growth and transition, with exciting leadership changes occurring across the university’s fifteen colleges and units, as well as within its advancement department. Building on its solid infrastructure and growing momentum, OU engaged Benefactor Group to test the feasibility of a $300 million campaign in support of scholarships, endowed chairs and professorships, new and revitalized facilities, and endowments for financial sustainability. The process included a robust internal assessment and external feasibility study, leading Benefactor Group to recommend that OU adopt an agile approach to campaign planning, beginning with a $300 million campaign to be followed by a similar effort immediately afterward. OU’s campaign plans are poised to enhance its impact and further its mission.
