The mission of Neighborhood Design Center (NDC) is to promote economic prosperity and an enriched quality of life through the rediscovery and revitalization of the built environment in underserved communities. In late 2021, Benefactor Group began working with NDC to assess its development operations, aiming to help the organization increase and diversify its philanthropic revenue. Benefactor Group conducted a funder scan to identify potential grant and partnership opportunities and developed an organizational case for support. Additionally, we provided ongoing counsel for NDC board and staff members as they implemented the recommendations from the development assessment.
