Julia Faulkner Pechlivanos

Julia Faulkner Pechlivanos has spent more than 20 years serving the nonprofit sector as an executive director, development director, and most recently in capacity building. As a capacity builder at The Center for Nonprofit Resources, Julia served more than 150 client organizations; she conducted assessments, facilitated planning efforts, and mentored organizational leaders. She also helped like-minded organizations develop formal collaborations, and has trained boards to perform better in fundraising and governance practices.

As executive director of Partners In Education of Toledo, Julia spent nine years engaging the business and public sector communities in collaboration with urban schools. She developed a regional OhioReads initiative, which recruited and placed more than 5,000 volunteer tutors. During her tenure, the organization grew exponentially in impact and resources. Earlier in her career, Julia served as director of development for three organizations, two in health care and a social service provider.
