Mir Colbert comes to Benefactor Group as a Research Coordinator with a background in ethical research and research practices. Prior to joining Benefactor Group full time, they interned with the firm during their junior and senior year of undergraduate education.

Mir is a proud graduate of Denison University and received their Bachelor of Arts in Black Studies. At Denison, they developed a passion for culturally sensitive research. They enjoy telling stories through sharing data in an approachable and compelling manner. In 2022, they received the Nan Nowik Award for Senior Research from the Women’s and Gender Studies Department.

Before becoming a professional researcher, Mir was involved in student consulting, advocacy, and community building.
